Bruce T. Stewart III is a known community leader and humanitarian, hailing from Honolulu, Hawaii, and raised in the nation's capital, Washington, D.C. With a passion for empowering others, Bruce devotes considerable time to community development, specializing in organizational growth and youth leadership training. His guiding philosophy is straightforward yet profound: "Empowerment through education." This vision has guided his extensive community work, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of countless individuals.

As a Golden Life Member and Executive Committee Member of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), Bruce has demonstrated his unwavering commitment to advocating for the rights and advancement of marginalized communities. He believes in fostering "open windows of opportunities to a victorious life of accomplishment for young people and their families, thereby leaving a legacy of lasting value for the community." Through his tireless efforts, he has created a ripple effect of positive change, inspiring future generations to strive for excellence.

Throughout his illustrious career, Bruce has received numerous distinguished awards and accolades for his outstanding community service and leadership. These honors include the Channel Islands University African American Award, the Omega Man of the Year award, the NAACP Special Award, and the NAACP California State Award, among others.

A dedicated member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Bruce has held various leadership positions within the Psi Xi Chapter, including President, Vice President, Dean of Pledges, and Scholarship Chair. He has also co-founded the "Rights to Passage," an advocacy initiative aimed at empowering undergraduate members and youth. His fraternal spirit has inspired countless individuals throughout his fraternity and the broader community.

Bruce earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Howard University. He shares his life with his loving wife, two sons, and four grandchildren, embodying the values of family, community, and leadership that have defined his remarkable journey.

Vincet  Stewart ​​
Vince Stewart III serves as the 2nd Vice President of the NAACP Ventura County Branch and holds numerous leadership positions, including on the Board of Trustees at St. Paul Baptist Church, Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for Community Action of Ventura County, and a member of the Oxnard Police Department Chief’s Advisory Board. He is also the President of the City of Oxnard Planning Commission. Previously, Vince served as Polemarch (President) of the Ventura Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi, Inc., and as Western Province Editor for the organization's national magazine, The Journal. His commitment to community advocacy extends to roles such as Secretary of the Community Advocacy Coalition (CAC) and Secretary of the Board of Directors for Las Cortes Inc. Additionally, he chairs the Deacon Board at St. Paul Baptist Church in Oxnard, CA.

In recognition of his community service and leadership, Vince has received numerous awards, including the Reserve Police Officer of the Year from the Oxnard Police Department, the NAACP Presidents Award, Kappa of the Year from the Ventura Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi, and multiple accolades from the California Legislature Assembly. He was also honored with the African American of the Year Award in 2014 from CSU Channel Islands and received special congressional recognition for his contributions to the MLK Jr. program.

Vince is a proud graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, where he majored in Electrical Engineering. He holds both a B.A. and a Master’s degree in Theology from Sacramento Seminary & Bible College and is currently pursuing a dual degree in Chemistry and Biology at California State University Channel Islands (CSUCI). He is married and has five children, embodying his dedication to family and community service.

Nesta Campbell
1st Vice President​​
Nesta Campbell is a dedicated pastor, educator, humanitarian, activist, and community leader from Ghana, who was raised in New York, NY. As a Life Member of the NAACP, Nesta has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to social justice and community empowerment. She spends a substantial amount of her time advocating for underserved youth and minority communities, driven by her passion for nurturing future leaders.

Guided by her faith and a profound belief in serving humanity, Nesta serves as a National Minister for Peace. In this role, she focuses on ministry while also traveling internationally to support underprivileged countries, spreading hope and assistance where it is needed most.

In addition to her pastoral work, Nesta is actively engaged in local and state initiatives that champion vital causes such as education, voting rights, redistricting, healthcare reform, and labor rights. Her dedication to advocacy reflects her deep commitment to fostering positive change in her community and beyond.

Nesta holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Oral Roberts University. She takes pride in her role as a mother of two and a loving grandmother of three, cherishing her family as a core part of her mission to uplift others.
